› Parish Share Support the Diocese of Pittsburgh . . . and our parish
Donations to Parish Share support the Diocese of Pittsburgh—covering a six county area of southwestern Pennsylvania. The money raised helps pay for the day in and day out needs of the entire diocese in areas such as central administration, the Seminary, the Marriage Tribunal, chaplaincies, and retirement support for priests. Each parish is assessed 17.6% of its income. St. Scholastica’s 2010 assessment is $84,930. Any amount donated above our parish assessment stays in the parish and is not taxed by the Diocese.
